Eyes of the Flesh & Mind

Specifically in regards to dimensional travel, the opening and closing of the eyes are often used as part of the postures and chironomy, magick “gestures,” used to manipulate the subtle energies and thus cause effects. A gesture is not simply a particular movement, but doing so with a specific intent, as part of a “ritual” or “incantation.”

Postures and chironomy may be done in physical or subtle form, however, regarding gestures that utilize the eyes, the eye must have been actualized (physically manifested) for the gestures to work in subtle form.

If the eye in question is only awakened (made subtle) and never actualized (made physical), a different method other than postures and chironomy must be used to achieve the desired results, in regards to gestures that utilize the eyes.

Ø	Awakened means that the eye in question has been manifested in subtle form. This means that there is a subtle eye, but no corresponding physical eye. In this state, the eye may or may not look like an “eye” in appearance. It may look like an energy chakra, or if underdeveloped, a hub of energy used for “sensing.”

Ø	The eye in question is first conceptualized as an ideal form, and it works its way down in density, following the path as outlined in the “Energy Domination Chart for the 4 Phases.” It next passes into rudimentary subtle forms, and on into subtle forms. At this point, the eye in question is fully awakened.

Ø	Actualized means that the eye in question has been materialized in physical form. To actualize, it must pass from subtle forms, into the phantasmal carbon, then into the phantasmal mundane carbon, and finally, into the mundane replica.

Ø	One may have a subtle eye and not have an actualized eye, but one may not have an actualized eye without a subtle eye.

Ø	A weaker Kinder must close, in gesture, the oculi-normalis when not in mundane form, the third eye, when not in astral form (subtle), and/or the fourth eye when not in echo form (subtle or physical). A weaker Kinder can only maintain perception of and thus a connection to one dimension at a time. However, this is not true of more powerful gods. Thus, an extremely powerful deity could have all eyes open at once, yet still be in the physical, in the astral, and in the echo, simultaneously, completely aware of all at once; however, this is very difficult to do and best done in short bursts.

Ø	When one becomes subtle (of the spirit body), one’s eyes become subtle, too. One can see subtle things through subtle eyes, just like one can close one’s eyes and go to sleep, yet still see in dreams.

Oculi-normalis

Ø	associated with the mundane world

Ø	the two eyes of normal vision, like humans have

Ø	can only see the light of the patron sun

Ø	actualized in all: humans, loveans, Geist, Shatter

Ø	has a subtle duplicate in the subtle ha, which looks like the actualized eyes

Ø	Once one became subtle, one’s oculi-normalis also became subtle and thus functioned in the astral realm, too. (more aptly, once one’s awareness became subtle, one became aware of one’s subtle oculi-normalis) Thus, even though one’s oculi-normalis is closed in gesture, one’s subtle oculi-normalis may be opened and functioning in the subtle realms whilst closed in the mundane realm.

Ø	The oculi-normalis is closed in gesture to break a connection to the mundane replica.

Ø	The oculi-normalis is opened in gesture to establish a connection to the mundane replica.

Third Eye

Ø	associated with the astral plane (and all its pocket dimensions)

Ø	situated in the center of forehead at the brow chakra

Ø	The pineal gland itself was not the third eye. The third eye could be thought of as a door to another dimension, with the pineal gland serving as the doorknob, and meditation serving as the key to the lock. This door allowed the mind-body to travel the astral realm.

Ø	One’s third eye perceived light as one’s oculi-normalis would see, meaning one could only see the light of his or her patron sun.

Ø	For Shatter, the third eye was typically awakened in a ceremony on the seventh birthday (unless petty or otherwise unworthy of godly duties).

Ø	Once fully cultivated, the third eye would actualize. This is typical of Shatter Kinder who are not petty.

Ø	Once actualized, the subtle eye is a subtle duplicate in the subtle ha, meaning it looks like the actualized eye

Ø	The third eye is opened in gesture in astral emanation, as the very first posture, for the subtle energies must be visible before one could manipulate them. (If one was consciously aware of subtle energy, then one became subtle energy.) This allowed one to transition between the physical flesh to the mind-body (subtle astral vehicle or astral body) instantaneously, bypassing the threshold, thus establishing a connection to the astral realm. Will (in the form of additional gestures) dictates where in the astral realm one emanates to, though the omni-transmundane replica is the most common starting point of choice.

Ø	Spontaneous closing of the third eye may be caused by prolonged physical contact was made with the omni-transmundane replica. This sends the Kinder back into his or her physical body.

Ø	The third or fourth eye of a Geist could awaken, but never actualize. Thus, Geist entered the astral/echo realm through astral projection only.

Ø	The subtle third eye is required for mental sight.

Fourth Eye

Ø	associated with the echo sphere

Ø	oversized, positioned vertically between the horns, upon the top of the head at the crown chakra

Ø	This fourth eye perceived light differently than one’s oculi-normalis would see, in that one could see the light of both Suns, both creation and destruction, synchronously.

Ø	One could “see beyond” through the fourth eye.

Ø	The fourth eye was specific to Divines only. Typically awakened in Shatter Kinder in a ceremony on the thirteenth birthday.

Ø	With an awakened fourth eye, one could astral travel within the echo realm. This was done with a gesture involving the actualized third eye in combination with the sight (and thus perception) provided by the awakened fourth eye. The third eye is opened in gesture, but the fourth eye is opened in subtle form only. Using this technique, the body must remain behind on Eden, and one’s consciousness is transferred to the subtle astral vehicle.

Ø	Once fully cultivated, the fourth eye actualized.

Ø	With an actualized fourth eye, by opening one’s fourth eye in gesture, one could turn one’s physical body into subtle echo energy. No longer limited to transferring one’s consciousness to the subtle astral vehicle, the body itself becomes a subtle echo vehicle, or echo body. (The forth eye is opened in gesture, the third eye remains closed in gesture.)

Ø	With an actualized fourth eye, one could astral travel within the echo realm. First, the forth eye is opened in gesture, and the flesh becomes a subtle echo vehicle. Then, this third eye of the echo vehicle is opened in gesture, and the echo body is left behind on the echo sphere, as one’s consciousness is transferred to the subtle astral vehicle. (check SK for continuity)

Ø	With an actualized fourth eye, one could echoport within the echo realm. Echoportation was physical teleportation across the echo realm to any location in Eden, or Earth, or Lovea, (each echo sphere is self-contained).

Ø	In order to echoport, one’s connection to the transmundane replica had to be broken. This was called severing and dissipating, and it was accomplished through advanced postures and chironomy. (This included closing, in gesture, one’s oculi-normalis of the echo vehicle) Once done, the Divine had no sensory connection to corporeal Eden. The Divine existed solely within the pitch.

Ø	Once the Divine had echoported to the desired location, one’s connection to the transmundane replica had to be reestablished through additional postures and chironomy. This was called connecting and emerging (a type of manifesting). (This included opening, in gesture, one’s oculi-normalis of the echo vehicle). At this stage, one’s fourth eye is still open in gesture, and one is still subtle echo energy.

Ø	The closing of one’s fourth eye in gesture reformed one’s corporeal form. Reforming one’s physical flesh was called materializing/to materialize. (Divergence was required before this was possible.) Once materialized, the final step in corporeal solidification was the opening of the oculi-normalis in gesture.

Ø	Spontaneous closing of the fourth eye may be caused by prolonged physical contact was made with the transmundane replica. This sends the Kinder back into his or her physical body. This could be dangerous if spontaneous synthesis occurred at a high altitude.

Ø	The third or fourth eye of a Geist could awaken, but never actualize. Thus, Geist entered the astral/echo realm through astral projection only. One legend told of an ancient and powerful Divine Geist who could temporarily actualize third and fourth eyes and thus echoport.

Ø	the polarisvertere ritual is performed to the echo body (for use in the upper muth), thus an actualized fourth eye is required

Ø	Mordecio & Astothan utilized their fourth eyes when doing healings to see illness and injury.
